Studio On The Lake Has Moved to new location!

We are so HAPPY and excited to announce that we have moved!  Our New Address is 316 N. Clinton St. Johns MI 48879.  We are right downtown on the main street. It's BIGGER AND BETTER!  Please Come in and visit!  The art studio room is located right when you come in from the lobby of Courtney's Place where you can stop in for your beauty needs and yes the marykay table is still there.  So I hope that you will step on over and visit. Do let me give a bit more about our setting.

 Studio On The Lake has been around for quite a few years (24 years). My quiet home studio is known for its beautiful setting, painting and drawing classes on the deck, quiet reflection, makeover and artmaking, a pampering of the Soul. Being a work at home mom, as my family grew, and my boys become teenagers, independent, flourishing souls each with their unique talents , I enjoy my own renewed  independence. This allows me to venture to neighboring communities, going with the flow and help people to create art... at Studio On The Lake at Courtney's Place in St. John's MI.

Here, you will find energetic people, a positive energy, a place to "Go Your Studio And Make Stuff". Become a new you with art expression with the belief that every person has special abilities, creativity and talents. Many hands-on adults and children art activities are always available within the studio. Under guidance of artist, Mary Ablao, students spend time at their own pace drawing, painting, beading, creating paper arts and collages. When finished, students can take their art home or leave it for viewing within the studio. This is a place where adults and children can create freely, where its non-competitive and serves as furthering creativity development. Visiting artists will lend their talents to share technique and add value to your experience.
